Pretty interesting two exhibits in #Moma in #NewYork. One is covering and probing the world outside of ourselves by going inside out ( #CindySherman) another one is understanding about the world and yourself by examining the feelings, that arise in reaction to reading stories and looking at ( Ukrainian orphan kids pictures, for example ) compellingly put together by #TarynSimon. Two opposite ways of touching upon the world around and inside of us, yet both complimentary at the same time. To me it was many times more interesting, then perhaps to regular folk, me being an avid microexptessions of the face ( huge fan of #Paul_Ekman ) and body language reader. So interesting to study what is untold by words but so visible to someone who observes placement of limbs, posture, the expression on the face and in the eyes. On a nostalgic side note : looking at pictures of rooms in the orphanage, reminded me of my kindergarten years in Russia ( identical beds and layout of the sleeping area, where kids have midday scheduled naps -customary for 3-5 years old in Russia ), similar wallpaper and decorative items… I have come a long way.
